About The Position

The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) at the AMG Providence Cardiovascular Clinic, operating on a PRN (as needed) basis. The role involves providing direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols of the healthcare organization. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, serve as a primary coordinator for patient care, and assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. The position is located at the Londonderry Specialty Clinics in Waco, Texas.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• RN experience
• Previous ICU or ER experience
• Any surgery experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certified

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
