Requirements

  • Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Florida Registered Nurse License.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • PALS certification.
  • Med/Surg or critical care experience of 1 year preferred.
  • Circulating OR experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to facilitate patient care.
  • Makes nursing assessments and diagnoses.
  • Formulates care plans based on the diagnosis.
  • Implements and evaluates the plan of care.
  • On call after hours during week nights and weekends for urgent/emergent cases, rotated with the RNs in the OR.
