Our St. Luke’s Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke’s Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care for cancer blood disorders. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care. The Cancer Institute Oncology RN role is a Float position, supporting Chemo Infusion Floats to St. Luke’s Cancer Institute Treasure Valley sites (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Fruitland) Chemo Infusion: provides hands on nursing care for the oncology population by administering high-risk medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the chemotherapy infusion center Infusions include chemotherapy/biotherapy, blood products, electrolytes, fluids, etc. Other tasks as assigned Part-time (0.8 FTE) | Schedule 4 x 8’s No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires! Certification pay available (ex. OCN)

Requirements

  • Nursing Degree
  • One (1) + years’ RN experience
  • Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross

  • OCN certification
