Join Cedars Sinai's Float Pool now and after 12 months you will be eligible to apply for cross-training, if accepted you will be cross trained with other specialties, which include ICU, ED, and Pediatrics. To qualify for cross training, you must obtain a PALS, NRP and BLS certificate before you apply. Cross training will allow you to get exposure to many different clinical areas while making a positive impact on the lives of a diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• California State RN License required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Certificates by ARC or AHA required for certain units and for cross training consideration.
• Minimum 5 years recent RN experience in specialty; Minimum 3 years recent acute RN experience for RN II.
• Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in ICU plus 3 years in one or more other specialty areas preferred.
• Experience in two or more nursing specialty areas such as Adult Med/Surg, Tele & PCU, Adult ICU & PCU, Women's Services, Neonatal, Peds & PICU, Emergency Services.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty certification by the ANCC is required for RN III.
• CCRN, CEN and PCCN specialty certificates are highly preferred.
