About The Position

Sentara Health is seeking RNs for a System-Wide Traveler position, offering an expansive benefit package, flexible permanent full-time hours, premium pay, and differentials. This is a full-time permanent position, not a temporary contract, with a pay increase of $20 per hour based on specialty compared to working at a single hospital location. The role requires RNs to travel to various Sentara hospitals based on the greatest need for Cath Lab services across locations including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Hampton, Williamsburg, Woodbridge, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, and Elizabeth City (NC). For assignments greater than 75 miles from home, benefits include block scheduling, meal reimbursement, lodging, pay for travel time, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and the opportunity to earn hotel and rental points.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of consecutive recent RN experience in Cath Lab.
• Valid RN license.
• RN Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional and safe patient care in the Cath Lab.
• Travel to different Sentara hospitals as needed.
• Participate in block scheduling for assignments over 75 miles from home.
