About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, with prior experience in electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work daytime hours with flexibility to meet staffing needs.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting.
• Demonstrated leadership and effective critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide direct patient care and support patient/family education.
• Facilitate transitions of care for patients and families.

• Mentor and teach other staff members.
