About The Position

Seeking Registered Nurse for Cardiovascular Unit! Full Time, Nights (7p-7a) Join our team in the Cardiovascular Unit as a Registered Nurse, working Full Time, 36 Hours Weekly. The unit consists of a 15-bed observation unit (CVI) and an additional 12-bed unit (CVU) for intermediate care. CVI specializes in caring for patients pre- and post-cardiac interventions such as PTCA, cardioversion, and generator implants, as well as those with atypical chest pain requiring cardiac monitoring. CVU provides post-op care for cardiac surgery patients following open-heart recovery. Our RN's care for patients through their entire journey, from intervention to discharge. New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply. The Cardiac Nurse assesses patient needs, implements interventions, and maintains a nursing care plan to address those needs. Strong critical thinking skills are essential as nurses provide technical care and act as resources to guide patients and families through their cardiac journey.
