About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This contract position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a critical and intensive care setting, specifically focusing on cardiovascular health. The role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Valid RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted.
• 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience in CVICU required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in progressive or intermediate care unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Benefits
