About The Position

The Registered Nurse - Cardiology Nurse Manager at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center is responsible for overseeing the operations of the cardiology department, including the cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology. This role involves providing leadership, direction, and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S.
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency.
  • Proficiency in basic written and spoken English.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
