How you’ll make an impact in this role Work with the Structural Heart Team to assist and coordinate evaluation, testing, visits and procedure under the direction of the Structural Heart Nurse Practitioners. Coordinate with physicians directly to discuss schedules, patient issues and ensure timely scheduling of cases. Provide education to patients regarding their disease process and next steps; perform telephone triage/clinical assessment of structural heart patients and communicate to ARPNs as appropriate.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Georgia Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works, or Compact state license specific to the state in which the associate works.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works, or Compact state license specific to the state in which the associate works.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
