About The Position

This role performs a broad range of advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures, including cardiac stress testing with real‑time EKG interpretation, cardiac PET imaging, CT angiography, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and tilt‑table testing. The position also supports echocardiography teams through Definity contrast administration, IV insertion and maintenance, and coordination during complex echo studies. Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking are essential, as the role requires continuous interpretation of cardiac rhythms, patient responses, and diagnostic findings to ensure timely, safe care. Team members also rotate through radiology to assist with departmental operations as needed, contributing to a collaborative and patient‑focused diagnostic care environment. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Required)
  • New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a Telemetry/Cardiac or ICU setting (Required)
  • Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle
  • Registered Nurse licensure required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Must have ACLS or obtain during orientation
