About The Position
A well-established acute care hospital in Independence, MO is seeking experienced and compassionate Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a 36-bed cardiac specialty unit. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience required
- Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Active Missouri RN license or Multistate Compact RN license
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS required within 1 year of hire
Responsibilities
- Monitor, assess, and provide nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry.
- Interpret ECGs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Deliver safe, evidence-based care for patients 16+ requiring cardiac step-down support.
- Apply strong clinical judgment in emergency and high-acuity situations.
- Promote patient safety by identifying and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with physicians, team members, and leadership to support high-quality outcomes.
