About The Position

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac/Telemetry in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac/Telemetry Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited associate of Nursing degree (or Diploma)
Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
Employee must have valid BLS upon hire.
ACLS, Chemotherapy Competency and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Preferred.

Responsibilities

Admitting and assessing patients
Administering medication and treatments
Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
Running and ordering tests
Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
Charting Patient Progress
