Position: Registered Nurse MNA Department: Cardiac Telemetry 2A Schedule: 36 Hours (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends POSITION SUMMARY: As an RN in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization, and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.

Requirements

  • Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
  • License/Certifications: Current RN MA license, BLS + ACLS required
  • Experience: 1-2 years of acute Med/Surg experience strongly preferred in hospital setting

Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
  • Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
  • Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
  • Update and manage patient records
  • Enter and interpret computerized data/information
  • Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
  • Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
