About The Position

Position Summary Ensures the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff according to provide excellent patient care with direction from Physicians and/or APP’s. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, APP’s, CMA’s and non-clinical staff. Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring and respective manner. Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures. Maintains appropriate logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines and medication under regulatory guidelines. Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies.

Requirements

Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a BSN Degree in Nursing. Combination of equivalent years of relevant work experience and some formal education may be considered.
Current and valid New Jersey RN.
Current and valid BLS certification required.
Ability to use effective critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.).
Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence behavior and customer service skills required.
Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac nursing experience preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of the operations in a medical practice environment and outpatient in a clinic or outpatient setting is preferred.
