The R.N. II maintains quality patient care through consistent standards of nursing practice in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Utilizes the nursing process: assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate to execute appropriate individual patient care. Responsible for orientation, training/precepting, and mentoring of other staff on the unit. The R.N. is instrumental in providing an exceptional experience for patient and family. With multiple recognitions from U.S. News & World Report, and as one of the largest cardiac programs in New York State, SCHI offers patients the advanced, personalized care they need.
