About The Position

The Registered Nurse position at Novant Health involves working in the Cardiac Pre/Post department at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. This role is full-time on a night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am. The patient population includes individuals with various cardiac diagnoses, heart failure patients, and patients post-procedure for coronary artery stenting. The responsibilities include EKG monitoring, medication administration (including intravenous vasoactive drugs), NSTEMI treatment, and pre and post-procedure care for permanent pacemaker patients, as well as treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
  • One-year relevant experience, preferred.
