About The Position
Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Critical Care/COPS department at the Heart Center in Jacksonville, FL! This is a Full-Time position with (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts a week between the hours of 5:30 am-7:30 pm. No weekends, no holidays. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
- 2 years Critical Care Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assessing Heart Center patients, including evaluating, continuous monitoring, interpreting, communicating, and recording patient conditions
- Coordinates with the physician's office, other RNs, laboratory, dietary, x-ray, pharmacy, and other areas of the hospital
- COPS RN perform TEEs, cardioversions, Tilt Table tests, and pharmacological stress tests
- Cath Lab RN, if applicable, may cross-train with EP/Pacemaker/ICD RN
