About The Position

Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus. We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. This position is also referral eligible and is a Special Weekend Option position which qualifies for premium pay. Our Cardiac Med/Surg unit is looking for a team player who is excited about education and patient care. This role is for Day shift. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (exceptions may be considered for candidates with more than two years of acute care experience, subject to CNO review and approval).
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
