Registered Nurse - RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - Part Time (18.75 hours) Cardiac nursing at New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital means complex cases, rare technology – and a finely tuned, inspiring team care-giving approach. Across screening, diagnosis, treatment and care, our nurses drive the sharing of knowledge and practices that make a life-changing difference for patients. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is at the cutting edge of interventional cardiology to render the best quality, cutting-edge, minimally invasive interventional services for patients with cardiac disease. Nurses work side-by-side with physicians who utilize highly effective techniques to obviate the need for open-heart surgery, consequently reducing the number of invasive procedures performed on patients. This is a part time (18.75 hours) position at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Requirements
- At least one year of acute care RN experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS & ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Previous nursing experience in critical care, ICU, or emergency department settings
