Requirements

Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
Current RN Massachusetts license, BLS and ACLS required
3-5 years previous Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience required.
Must live within 30 minutes for call requirement. Weekend and weeknight Call requirement.
Procedural sedation experience.
Proficient with Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation.
STEMI Response.
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, TEE and cardioversions, Intra-aortic Ballon pumps, Impella's.
Experience with Epic preferred.
Experience with XPER preferred.

Nice To Haves

Previous Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
Update and manage patient records
Enter and interpret computerized data/information
Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
