This is a temporary position POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care. All nursing practice, policies & procedures, & quality practice are overseen by the Vice President of Nursing Services. Works as par of an ON CALL team with other nurses and technologists to provide coverage for STEMI and other emergent and urgent cath lab procedures. EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Minimum: Must meet one of the following: One year Cardiac Cath Lab experience One year ICU experience Three years Critical Care experience Desired: Cardiac Cath Lab experience LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing ACLS Certified Current CPR Recognition SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position. Requirements

  • Must meet one of the following: One year Cardiac Cath Lab experience One year ICU experience Three years Critical Care experience
  • Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
  • ACLS Certified
  • Current CPR Recognition
  • Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
  • Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
