About The Position

We’re looking for an exceptional Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join a highly skilled, fast‑paced team where your expertise truly makes an impact. In this day‑shift role (four 8‑hour shifts), you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive environment that values your voice, your intuition, and your commitment to outstanding patient care. This position includes one on‑call night per week and one weekend per month, with a 30-minute on‑site response when called in—ideal for a nurse who thrives on variety and is energized by the opportunity to step in when they’re needed most. Requirements

A compassionate, patient‑centered RN committed to delivering excellent care
A nurse who is eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic clinical environment

A professional who upholds the New York State Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and UHS standards
A responsible, flexible caregiver dedicated to clinical excellence and continuous growth
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current New York State Registered Nurse License

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
CCRN certification
Additional skills certifications as required (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC)

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients
Serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit assignment and patient safety needs
Educate patients and families on health promotion, treatment plans, and disease management
Utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications in accordance with UHS policies
Support effective resource use, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services
Adhere to all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies
Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, Unit Council activities, and improvement initiatives
Contribute to peer review processes and integrate evidence‑based practice and nursing research
Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees, students, and clinical observers
Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and mandatory training
Perform additional duties as assigned to support safe, effective patient care
