About The Position

Accepts assignment daily (as frequently as every 4 hours) to all Wolfson nursing units as needed. Provides general and intensive patient care to the pediatric population utilizing all aspects of the nursing process. Administers medications per hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrates professionalism when interacting with others. License/Certification Note: The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• AHCA - Level II Fingerprint Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• 3-5 Years Clinical Nursing Experience
• Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
• General Care Experience
• Experience working in an Acute Care setting

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Experience Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) Preferred
• Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
