About The Position

The BMT Infusion Nurse in Hollings Clinics reports to the Unit Manager. Under general supervision, the Infusion Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes. This position is with the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) in the CHS - Bone Marrow Transplant (ART) Cost Center.

Requirements

RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing are required to be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years of the RN hire or reclassification date
A minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred
ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certified Nurses or OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification prior to signing offer letter
