About The Position
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health Services Department, which serves the needs of young, middle, and older adults, the registered nurse functions as a direct patient caregiver within the unit's care delivery system, with increasing independence. Integrates nursing theories and solution focused therapy into patient care. Join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
Requirements
- Colorado RN license in good standing.
- BLS required by end of conditional period.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years psychiatric experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
- Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
- Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
- Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
- Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
- Identifies patient learning needs, develops and implements an individualized teaching plan for patients.
