About The Position

Atrium Health Union West is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team for weekend night shifts. This position offers a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during their stay in the emergency department.

Requirements

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
