About The Position

Atrium Health Union is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team for weekend night shifts. This position offers a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while monitoring their cardiac health. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and support to our patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous experience in a telemetry or critical care setting is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
