About The Position

Conduct telephone and in-office triage, assessing patient symptoms, prioritizing care needs, and providing appropriate guidance. Collaborate closely with physicians and providers to support clinical decision-making and coordinate patient care. Communicate effectively with patients and families, including answering clinical messages, providing education, and relaying provider instructions. Collect, assess, and evaluate patient health data to develop and implement care plans. Ensure care is delivered in accordance with the NJ Nurse Practice Act and established protocols. Utilize EMR and other systems to document care accurately and efficiently. Participate in shared governance and contribute to process improvements focused on patient safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and valid NJ RN license required
  • 3+ years of experience in an outpatient or ambulatory setting
  • 2+ years in acute care (preferably critical care)
  • Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
  • BLS certification required (or obtained after hire)
