About The Position

About Us The Department of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics provides consultations for children from Birth through 18 years of age who have developmental challenges such as: Developmental Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Medical Causes of School Problems, Behavioral Difficulties of Young Children, Developmental Delays, and Tic Disorders/ Tourette Syndrome. The specialist will spend time with Parent and child, often over several visits, to ensure that the child’s and family’s needs are met and that questions are answered. We encourage all who are interested to apply, no previous experience with Pediatrics is required. Position Summary The Registered Nurse for Elliot Developmental Pediatrics will be primarily responsible for referral triage, telephone triage, medication refills and supporting our patients in the process of potential Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis or ADHD diagnosis. Additional duties may include nurse visits, buccal swabs for genetic testing, rooming patients, assisting families in need of community resources and gathering medical records.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
  • Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • ACLS preferred.
