About The Position

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Oncology Surgical Services Skin Cancer/Cosmetic Care team, conducting duties such as: rooming patients, patient intake, triaging calls, scheduling appointments, wound care assessment, suture/staple removals, skin graft care, medication refills, checking messages in MyChart, FMLA paperwork, disability forms, and other related tasks as needed. The nurse will also have the opportunity to administer non-surgical cosmetic injectables a few days a week. The office is located on the north side in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Requirements

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana
• One year or more of nursing experience required
• Surgical and/or wound care nursing experience required
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent team skills
• Compassionate and caring
• Accountable and self-directed

Nice To Haves

• Cosmetic injectables experience not required, training would be provided
• Melanoma/skin cancer experience a plus
• EPIC experience a plus
