Your future role at a glance Location: Wichita, KS Facility: Ascension Via Christi, St Francis Department/Specialty: Ambulatory Infusion Center Schedule: Day shift | Full time | 4 shifts per week from 8:00am - 5:30pm Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University. How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead the delivery of compassionate, direct nursing care by adhering to high-standard clinical protocols that ensure patient safety and comfort. Coordinate a multidisciplinary care team to ensure every patient receives a seamless, holistic, and well-organized treatment experience. Monitor and communicate real-time shifts in patient conditions to the medical team, ensuring timely interventions and data-driven care adjustments. Assess and facilitate comprehensive discharge plans to empower patients and their families for a successful transition from hospital to home.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
