About The Position

REGISTERED NURSE (RN), ALLERGY , MIT Health , provides direct patient care according to age-specific plans of care that is within the scope of practice of a registered nurse; performs nursing knowledge through the principles of telephone and waiting room triage; utilizing established guidelines in response to each patient’s needs, will easily access data, interpret age-specific needs, and provide nursing care in collaboration with others; and plays a critical role in providing health education, supportive counseling, and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Health. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• bachelor’s degree
• current RN license in Massachusetts
• CPR certified
• current active BLS certification
• minimum three years as a Registered Nurse in pediatrics, women’s health, or family medicine ambulatory clinic or private practice setting
• fluency with EMR systems, Cerner preferred
• experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access
