About The Position

Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient centered care for the greater Milwaukee community. With a wide range of treatment for children, adolescents, adults and older adults, our mission is to provide much needed outcome-focused care for those who need it most. Our new 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment modalities and a multi-disciplinary team led by expert medical professionals. The 120 beds are split into 5 groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing. This is a Full Time position from 7pm - 7:30am, 3 days a week, 36 hours a week. This position qualifies for a $15,000 Sign on Bonus. Job Duties/Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing medical detoxification, including assesment, and monitoring of withdrawl symptoms. Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians. Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques. Monitor, report, and document patient behaviors and overall well being. Administer medications and perform treatments as needed under the guidance of treatment team. Requirements

Current Wisconsin or Compact RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric/Detox nursing experience, or two (2) years with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
CPR certification required.
