As a home health nurse at the University of Vermont Health - Home Health and Hospice, you’ll work alongside a diverse, supportive team of nurses, physicians, and specialty practitioners who truly care about their patients and their community 🤝. Our full-time positions are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, which is amazing schedule for parents or those who want work/life balance. There is one rotating weekend day every 5-6 weeks, but you will not work one of the weekdays those weeks. Our Community Health Nurses provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes—helping individuals remain where they feel most comfortable 🏡. We work to the top of our licensure and collaborate closely within a comprehensive, interdisciplinary team that includes: Registered Nurses (RNs) 🩺 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) Physical Therapists (PTs) Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) Social Workers Dedicated Administrative Support Together, we ensure each patient receives the highest level of personalized, at-home care. The UVM Health Network - Home Health & Hospice helps people live their fullest lives by providing innovative, compassionate care wherever they call home. We offer services for all ages and stages of life, including home health nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy, children’s and family services, as well as palliative and interdisciplinary hospice care.
Requirements
- 1+ year of home health or public health nursing experience preferred, OR a combination of education and experience that provides comparable skills
Nice To Haves
- Home care experience is helpful but not required—we will happily train motivated candidates who are eager to learn 🌟
Benefits
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for external applicants (prorated for part-time roles) 🎉

- $6,000 Relocation Bonus for those relocating 120+ miles from previous work location
