The person hired into this position will work three 12-hour shifts from 7:00p-7:00a per week for a total of 36 hours per week. Candidates hired into this position will work a set schedule for the night shift. There are three options for the set days outlined below. 1. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday or 2. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday or 3. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday PLEASE NOTE: there is two call shift in a six-week scheduling period. Join the brand-new Acute Surgical Care Stepdown unit coming to 10N, a 31-bed stepdown unit offering a unique opportunity to help build a new team from the ground up. Nurses will provide a stepdown level of care to adult patients either awaiting surgery or recovering post-operatively. The unit features a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere. Please note this is inpatient/bedside position. Patient Population Includes : Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Patients Pre- and Post-Operative Surgical Patients Trauma and Med-Surg Overflow Why Join 10N ?   • Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
