About The Position
WorkFit Medical Staffing is currently seeking a versatile and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Float Pool. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple acute care units, providing high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population. The Acute Float Pool nurse plays a critical role in maintaining safe staffing levels and ensuring consistent patient care throughout the hospital. This position offers a dynamic and flexible work environment, ideal for RNs who enjoy variety and have strong adaptability skills. Float units will include ICU, ED, and Med Surg. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Ability to quickly adapt to different clinical settings and patient populations.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications all required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
