Bitterroot Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team in Hamilton, Montana—where professional excellence meets outdoor adventure. As an Acute Care RN, you’ll provide high-quality nursing care to patients across all age groups and acuity levels. Medical Surgical Nurses care for orthopedic, urology, general surgical, neurosurgical, pediatric, postpartum, and general medical patients. You’ll be a vital part of our interdisciplinary team, collaborating with providers and ancillary staff to ensure exceptional outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN)
- Current Montana or compact RN license in good standing
- BLS required
- ACLS and PALS within one year of hire
- Strong clinical judgment and care coordination abilities
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care and evaluate patient needs
- Document findings in the EMR and coordinate care plans
- Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and team members
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives
