Job Title: Registered Nurse - Acute - Adult Med-Surg/IMC - Float Pool Cost Center: 301351103 MfdHos-Nursing Float Pool Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Variable (United States of America) Job Description: This position is eligible for a sign on bonus up to $25,000! JOB SUMMARY The Registered Nurse-Acute - Float performs RN duties in multiple departments as assigned on a routine “fill-in” basis, and functions as a vital member of the healthcare team by demonstrating a customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. The individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. The Registered Nurse-Hospital is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills and make decisions consistent with hospital policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in nursing.
- Current unrestricted State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within one month of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Two years hospital nursing experience, specific to consortium.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
