Requirements

Requires associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous psychiatric experience is preferred.
This position requires current RN license from the State of Ohio.
Certification as a psychiatric nurse is preferred.
Must demonstrate comfort in interacting with individuals with mental illness.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Must have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provides assertive community treatment services to clients in accordance with established agency and program policies, procedures, philosophy and clients’ needs.
Documents client/program activities according to Agency and Program policies and procedures.
Provides emergency first aid to clients.
Acts as liaison between physician and other caregivers.
Obtains health assessment for new clients.
