A Registered Nurse on this unit has the opportunity to truly get to know their patients and families and be involved in the continuum of care as we treat many chronic conditions. 8 West is a 24-bed pulmonary unit that cares for patients diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, bronchiolitis, asthma, pneumonia, obstructive sleep apnea, and respiratory distress. Patients vary in acuity from acute to progressive care. The pulmonary multidisciplinary team consists of a fantastic group of nurses, physicians, case managers, social workers, patient care assistants, unit secretaries, and respiratory therapists. You will engage in a high level of collaboration with many of these disciplines on a regular basis to provide excellent care for our patients. BSN preferred This position is referral eligible! Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
