Welcome to 5E, our Med/Surg and Progressive Care unit with 30 beds dedicated to respiratory, infectious diseases, progressive and general Med/Surg care. On 5E, you can earn a certification in Med Surg/Progressive Care, adding to your professional growth. Shift: All shifts will be required to pick up 1-on call shift every 6-weeks. Nursing skills gained on this unit: Obtain Med Surg/Progressive Care certifications Develop strong bedside and procedural skills Understand and develop further expertise for a variety of treatments due to nature of acuity adaptable Time management & flexibility while managing patients ranging in acuity levels Why Join IU Health?
