About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team of healthcare professionals at Haines City Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. This position is for the 3-11 shift and is a PRN role, meaning it is as needed. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN will supervise the nursing personnel and the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the assigned tour of duty. This supervision must adhere to accepted professional standards and current federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. The RN will play a crucial role in monitoring the daily delivery of nursing care and nursing staff performance as they provide care to the patients/residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. The RN will also be responsible for planning and conducting shift staff meetings regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and to improve services. Identifying problems or potential issues in the delivery of nursing care to residents and implementing corrective actions immediately is a key responsibility. Additionally, the RN will make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing as necessary and assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the resident's total regimen of care.
