Registered Medical Assistant (Mana Foot and Ankle)
About The Position
The Registered Medical Assistant position is under the supervision of the office manager. The RMA to the Physician is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice About Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic is a physician-owned practice who encourages teamwork and collaboration, increasing efficiency in care, and ensuring patients receive a positive health care experience. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 – 18 months experience and/or education
Responsibilities
- Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reports
- Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner
- Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately
- Notify hospital or personnel of physician's orders
