About The Position
The Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) position is a full-time role located at 425 Centre View Boulevard, Crestview Hills, KY 41017. This position offers a starting pay of $17 per hour and is designed for individuals who have completed a medical technology course from an accredited institution. The role is structured to provide a supportive environment for both patients and medical staff, ensuring that all communications and procedures are handled with professionalism and care. The RMA will work during the day shift, Monday to Friday, with no requirements for nights, weekends, or holidays, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. In this role, the RMA will be responsible for triaging patient calls, determining the urgency of patient needs, and effectively communicating with both patients and medical staff. The RMA will also be tasked with admitting patients to the exam room, taking and recording vital signs, and reviewing medications. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to evaluate patient information accurately. The RMA will assist practitioners and ensure that all information provided to patients is clear and accurate, as dictated by the medical staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, good phone etiquette, and proficiency in using various office equipment, including Windows-based computers, copiers, fax machines, and voicemail systems. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of information within the medical office and ensuring that patient care is prioritized and handled efficiently.
