About The Position

The Mammographer operates complex equipment to produce high quality mammograms, which comply with the American College of Radiology Standards. This individual collaborates with the Radiologist, the manager, and the staff in developing, implementing and evaluating department procedures and protocols. This position has direct patient care, access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with the Radiologist, the manager, and the staff. This individual works under the direct supervision of the Radiology Manager.

Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology Major/Area of Concentration: Radiologic Technology
RRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License.
Mammography registry certificate required within 18 months of hire.
BLS - Basic Life Support.
De-escalation training within 6 months.
1-2 years diagnostic Radiology.
