Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Certification/Licenses: RDMS (must achieve credential for physics and one correlating specialty per ACR standards within 18 months of hire), BLS, De-escalation training within 6 months, NT certification within 12 months (OB/GYN only)
  • Experience: 1–2 years preferred in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in performing and interpreting ultrasound studies in one or more specialties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and the healthcare team
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems
