About The Position

As a Registered Dietitian, youll provide expert nutrition care and education to seniors, helping them stay healthy, nourished, and supported in their care plans. Youll assess nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, and work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure each participant receives the best possible care. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and dependable. Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire well provide the training!).
  • Bachelors Degree from an ADA-accredited institution with a major in nutrition.
  • Must be ADA Registered.
  • Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, TB Screening
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or support participants as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience working with the frail or elderly population is preferred, but extensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans in alignment with nutrition standards.
  • Provide nutrition education to participants, caregivers, and staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive participant care.
  • Document all care, plans, and observations accurately within the electronic medical record system.
  • Monitor participant progress and make evidence-based adjustments to nutritional care.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA standards and all state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support the planning and evaluation of meal services as needed.
