About The Position

Part Time: 24 hours per week Provide medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for patients. Incorporate current evidence-based research into practice, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process Displays strong communication skills and ability to interact in a positive manner with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital staff. Actively contributes to departmental initiatives, including committees and projects. Must be able to participate as a team member of the interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics or a closely related field
• Maintains current license to practice dietetics in current state (LD) and active certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD).
• Minimum one-year experience as Registered Dietitian in clinical nutrition.
