About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Part-Time, 24 hours/week, Registered Dietitian to join their Clinical Nutrition Team at the Health Center at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, TN. Standifer Place is a skilled nursing and assisted living community with 444 beds and an average census of 360 residents across two buildings. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN); Registered Dietitian credential required
  • Active Tennessee dietitian licensure required
  • Strong clinical assessment skills including MDS knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resident and team engagement
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SNF, LTC, or assisted living settings preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct MDS assessments for new admissions and annual reviews across SNF and AL units
  • Perform meal rounds, resident assessments, and nutritional audits
  • Attend care conferences and conduct dietitian talks with residents and families
  • Provide hands-on clinical nutrition support and kitchen training
